Ace Garneau
Tucked away into what used to be a neighbourhood laundromat, Ace Garneau is a much favoured outpost of the ACE coffee shops. Tucked into the big leafy trees of the Garneau neighbourhood, it's a treat to exist in this spot's modern vibe, indoors or on the patio, winter or summer. Great sandwiches, great coffee, nice folks behind the bar. If you're anywhere near the University of Alberta campus or hospital this Ace location is your best bet. Bonus: Sepp's Pizza serves pies and slices out of the alley window of this building.
